Widgets and Shortcuts
Reach your day from the home screen, Lock Screen, Control Center, and system search.
Most of what you need from Wyatt on a phone is a glance: what is due, what the day looks like, and a fast way to capture something. Mobile puts those outside the app.
Home Screen Widgets
Five widgets are available on both iOS and Android:

Add them the usual way for your platform — long-press the home screen on Android, or use the widget gallery on iOS. Tapping a widget opens the matching place in the app rather than just launching it.
Widget content honors your privacy settings. If you have chosen to hide details, widgets show counts and times only; if you have chosen to show nothing, they stay empty until you open Wyatt. See Security and Privacy.
Lock Screen Live Activities
On iOS, some ongoing things appear as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island:
- Voice conversations — mute, unmute, and end the call without unlocking.
- Meeting presence — the meeting you are currently in.
- On-device AI download — progress while the model is being fetched.
Control Center and Quick Settings
- iOS Control Center — Wyatt ships control widgets you can add to Control Center to jump straight into the app.
- Android Quick Settings — two tiles are available from the notification shade: Quick Capture, which opens a new task, and Voice Mode, which starts a voice conversation.
App Icon Shortcuts
Long-press the Wyatt icon for quick actions:
- New chat
- New task
- Voice mode
These appear once you are signed in and disappear when you sign out, so an unauthenticated device shows no shortcuts.
System Search
Wyatt indexes your tasks, conversations, and files into your device's search index — Spotlight on iOS and macOS, and the platform search index on Android. Searching from the home screen surfaces Wyatt content alongside everything else, and tapping a result opens it in the app.
Apple Watch
The Watch app is a glance: a companion view of your day that requires a paired iPhone with Wyatt installed. It is not a standalone Watch app.
Handoff
Because the iOS and Mac apps share the same deep-link router, an item you open on one Apple device can be picked up on another. Start reading a document on your iPhone and the Mac offers to continue it.
Focus and Modes
Wyatt responds to your device's Focus settings on iOS and Modes on Android. A Focus filter can set which workspace is active, so a Work focus opens Wyatt in your work workspace and a personal Focus does not.
Assistant Integration
On Android 16 and later, Wyatt exposes app functions that Gemini can discover and call on-device. On Apple platforms, the activities Wyatt donates let Siri and Shortcuts predict the contexts you return to.
macOS Menu Bar
The Mac app can live in the menu bar as a status item, giving you a way to reach Wyatt without switching windows. Toggle it in settings on macOS; the option is hidden on platforms that have no menu bar.
