AI Conversations
Chat with an intelligent assistant that searches, creates, and acts across your workspace.
Overview
Conversations are the primary way to interact with Wyatt's AI. Think of it as a team member who has read every document, knows every database row, and can take action on your behalf.
Starting a Conversation
Open a new conversation from the sidebar or press Cmd+N. You can ask questions, give instructions, or work through complex tasks step by step.
What the AI Can Do
- Search — find documents, database records, and conversations using semantic search
- Create — draft documents, build databases, generate reports
- Edit — modify existing documents and update database records
- Analyze — summarize content, compare data, identify patterns
- Automate — set up triggers, run skills, and chain actions together
Conversation Features
Context Awareness
The AI remembers everything from your current conversation. It also has access to your workspace content through search, so you can reference documents and data by name.
Tool Use
Behind the scenes, the AI uses specialized tools to interact with your workspace. You'll see tool call indicators when it searches, creates, or modifies content. This transparency helps you understand exactly what actions are being taken.
Attachments
Drag and drop files into the chat or click the attachment button to share images, PDFs, and other files with the AI. It can analyze documents, extract information, and work with the content you share.
Multiplayer
Share a conversation with teammates to collaborate in real time. Everyone sees the same messages and can contribute to the discussion. Use @mentions to loop in specific people.
Tips for Better Results
- Be specific — "Summarize the Q4 revenue report" works better than "Tell me about revenue"
- Provide context — mention document names, dates, or other details to help the AI find the right content
- Iterate — if the first response isn't perfect, ask follow-up questions to refine the result
- Use skills — for tasks you repeat often, create a skill so you can invoke it with a single command
