Security and Privacy
App lock, screenshot blocking, glanceable content, and managed policies.
A phone is easier to lose and easier to look over the shoulder of than a laptop, so the mobile app has controls the web app does not need. They live under Settings > Security and apply to the device you set them on.
App Lock
Turn on Require unlock and Wyatt asks for your face, fingerprint, or passcode before it opens.
Lock after controls how long Wyatt can sit in the background before it locks again:
- Never — unlock once, then stay unlocked until Wyatt closes.
- A set number of minutes — lock again after that long in the background.
App lock applies to this device only. If the device has no biometrics or passcode set up, Wyatt opens without asking — the app cannot invent a credential that the device does not have, so set a device passcode first if you are relying on this.
Screen Capture
Two settings keep workspace content out of images you did not intend to make:
- Block screenshots and recording — keeps workspace content out of screenshots, screen recordings, and shared screens.
- Hide in app switcher — covers the preview the system shows when you switch between apps.
The second one matters more often than people expect: the app switcher preview is the most common way workspace content ends up on someone else's screen during a demo or a handover.
Lock Screen and Widgets
Lock screen and widgets decides how much of your content appears in places you can see without unlocking:

| Hide details | Counts and times only, with no titles or message text. |
| Show nothing | Widgets stay empty until you open Wyatt. |
This applies to widgets and glanceable surfaces together, so you do not have to configure them one by one.
Managed Devices
If your organization manages Wyatt, some of these options are set centrally. Managed settings are marked Managed, with a note that your organisation sets them and they cannot be changed on the device. Everything not managed stays under your control.
On-Device Data
Workspace content is only stored on the device if you turn on offline access. You control how much space it may use and can remove the local copy at any time from the Offline Access screen.
