Command Palette

Navigate your workspace, search content, and run actions with a single keyboard shortcut.

Your Workspace at Your Fingertips

The Command Palette is the fastest way to get around Wyatt. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from anywhere and start typing. It combines search, navigation, and quick actions into one interface.

You can also click the Search button in the sidebar to open it.

Search as You Type

As soon as you start typing, the Command Palette searches across your entire workspace in real time:

  • Documents -- find any document by title or content
  • Databases -- locate tables and records
  • Conversations -- search past AI chats
  • Connected services -- results from Google Drive, Slack, Notion, and other integrations appear alongside local content

Results update instantly as you type. The most relevant matches appear at the top, powered by the same semantic search engine used throughout Wyatt.

Tip

You don't need to type the exact name. Searching for "onboarding checklist" will find a document titled "New Hire Setup Guide" if the content is semantically similar.

Quick Actions

Beyond search, the Command Palette gives you quick access to common actions:

Tips for Power Users

  1. Jump to pages -- type any page name to navigate there instantly without touching your mouse.
  2. Quick tasks -- prefix your query with t: to create a task on the fly (e.g., t: Review the proposal by Friday).
  3. Chat shortcut -- if your search doesn't find what you need, press Cmd+Enter to ask the AI directly. Your query becomes the first message in a new conversation.
  4. Recent items -- open the palette with an empty query to see your recent conversations and frequently visited pages.
Note

The Command Palette searches connected services too, so results from Google Drive, Slack, and other integrations appear right alongside your Wyatt content.
