Connections
Set up and manage OAuth connections to external services like Google, Slack, and GitHub.
Connecting Your Services
Connections are how you link external services to your Wyatt workspace. Once connected, content from those services becomes searchable and accessible to the AI assistant.
Setting Up a Connection
- Navigate to Settings > Connections in your workspace.
- Find the service you want to connect and click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to the service's login page (Google, Slack, etc.) to authorize Wyatt.
- After authorization, you're redirected back to Wyatt and the connection is active.
That's it. Your connected content will start appearing in search results and AI conversations immediately.
You only need to connect a service once. The connection is shared across your workspace, so all members with the appropriate permissions can benefit.
Available Connectors
- Google Drive -- Search across your documents, spreadsheets, slides, and other files stored in Drive.
- Google Ads -- Pull in campaign performance data and metrics.
Communication
- Slack -- Search messages and threads from connected channels.
Knowledge Management
- Notion -- Search pages and databases from your Notion workspace.
Meetings
- Fathom -- Access meeting recordings, notes, and transcripts.
Developer Tools
- GitHub -- Connect repositories for code-related context.
Managing Connections
Viewing Active Connections
Go to Settings > Connections to see all active connections for your workspace. Each connection shows:
- The service name and icon
- When it was connected
- Its current status (active, expired, or error)
Refreshing a Connection
OAuth tokens expire over time. If a connection stops working, you may need to refresh it:
- Go to Settings > Connections.
- Find the affected connection.
- Click Reconnect to go through the authorization flow again.
Disconnecting a service removes it from search results and AI access immediately. Reconnecting requires going through the OAuth flow again.
Removing a Connection
To disconnect a service:
- Go to Settings > Connections.
- Click the menu on the connection you want to remove.
- Select Disconnect.
Disconnecting does not delete any data in the external service. It simply removes Wyatt's access.
Permissions and Privacy
- Wyatt uses OAuth 2.0 for all connections, which means your passwords are never shared with Wyatt.
- Connections respect the permissions of the authenticated account -- you only see content you have access to in the original service.
- Wyatt does not store copies of your external data. Content is fetched in real time when you search or when the AI needs it.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Connection shows "expired" | Click Reconnect to re-authorize |
| No results from a connected service | Verify the connection is active and that your account has access to the content you're searching for |
| Authorization fails | Make sure third-party app access is allowed in your service's admin settings |
